A reading fellowship for women

Registration opens December 1

Good books, a few dear friends, and a table to gather around.

We read good books together and meet once a month in homes and churches to talk them over. Apostolic at heart, and every woman is welcome.

  • Up to 10 women
  • Once a month
  • Every woman welcome

Our newest companion, released 2027

Planted

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Psalm 92:13

Our first companion is about putting down roots. A heart rooted in prayer, a mind renewed by truth, and a home where children grow toward God. When we are planted, we flourish, and so do the people around our tables.

The reading year

Nine good books, your own rhythm

Each year's companion comes out in December or January. Your group reads its books in order, at the pace your host sets: most groups meet once a month, and a host may skip a month or shape the year however suits her table.

Book 1 of 9

Rooted in prayer

Read before your group's first meeting.

The books themselves are for members. Each one is in your companion, with a closer look, a personal reflection, and a family read-aloud.

Each month

How a month goes

  1. Read

Read at your own pace, with the companion's author profile and closer look.

  2. Gather

Gather with your group, up to 10 women, once a month.

  3. Talk

Talk it through with the companion's questions.

Our one rule: never apologize for not finishing.

Hosting

Have a gift for gathering?

Hosts open a home or a church room once a month, invite a few women, and get the conversation started. Begin whenever you're ready; most groups begin in January. We give you the rest.

You don't need to teach

This isn't a Bible study, and no one expects a lesson. Your only preparation is reading the book with the companion. Then you open with its first question, and the companion's questions carry the conversation from there.

What we believe

We are Apostolic Pentecostal. We believe in one God, fully revealed in Jesus Christ, and in the new birth of Acts 2:38. Every woman is welcome at the table, whatever church she calls home.
